Leaving on Southwest Chief! Thank you to everyone on here for all the advice and flow of info! Hoping the latest trend of on time I to flagstaff continues with our train. Will update everyone one we arrive in AZ how our first LD train is.

SWC has improved on times the last few days. Hoping it continues as I leave on it in a week! Packing extra snacks etc just in case a huge delay, but sending up prayers we are on time.

We will be on that train as we'll! Traveling to flagstaff!

I pulled out some MRE's today to bring with us as a back up in case we end late and they run out of food, as I've read can happen!

Just pulled up swc3 for today. Looks like it sat in Raton, NM for almost 5 hours before leaving???

The SWC that is supposed to arrive in FLG today is now over 4 hours late! It's been a horrible week this week for SWC! Hope it gets corrected soon as I leave in less then 2 weeks.

Last nights train was over 4 hours late. Anyone know why????? It's making me nervous as since I've booked my ticket the train has been more then 45 minutes late almost every day. The 30 day average when I booked was 44 minutes late, it's now over 77 minutes. We still have a 2.5 hour drive...

I'm reading a few different responses to this. When you board do they assign you seats and a specific car? I've read on some pages that they assign cars based on where you are getting off at. It then on other places I've read you just board in coach and find a seat.
