I been on over 50 trips on Amtrak, and the only theft I remember was a fellow who left his camera on his coach seat. Not smart.

I seriously doubt that that is permanent, but merely an operational consideration with available equipment.

Nice photos! I'm always interested in the kind of photos that one can get with minimal photographic equipment!
