Some questions... Why are they canceled? I know it says the weather but what about it? Is this a frozen switch issue or something else? How do they figure what trains to cancel? If they can run one train why not all of them?

Does amtrak run in 8-12" of snow? I'm talking about the NEC. Supposed to take a trip Tue but supposed to snow Monday here :( ((

how does amtrak either keep the snow off tracks or gets it off tracks after a significant snowfall?
