If I remember correctly,didn't the original Amtrak station in Spartanburg,SC burn down in 1996 ? Does anyone know what the cause of the fire was,and what 19 and 20 did to board passengers who were ticketed to board or get off in Spartanburg while the station was being rebuilt ?

Every time I have stepped off 19 or 20 to stretch my legs in Atlanta,I notice people in the station try to head down the steps before the boarding call is made. They have to announce at least 2 times or more not to head down to the platform until called. It would be nice if the station was bigger.
