So, the purpose of the chart is to keep track what percentage of time the Sleeper has the bedrooms facing...
Zephyr #5 has been running the standard 31/32 sleepers since May 23 season.

+1 for Hyatt House Emeryville. It's a solid goto when taking Zephyr. As mentioned above, it's only 1,000 feet (.2 mi) door to door and has a walk bridge to connect the hotel and station. (it's a bit more expensive than some alternatives but can't beat the convenance.)

Hi n3rdg1rl,
With regard to “Sleeper Removal” discussion concerning Amtrak Car #2131…
I can confirm Eagle 21 ran one sleeper car #2131 last Friday. (DAL > SAS).

Hi n3rdg1rl,
With regard to “Sleeper Removal” discussion concerning Amtrak Car 2131… for further evaluation...
Amtrak 21 stop filmed at Mineola Texas captured 2 months ago and appears to still be running only 1 sleeper.
It was numbered 2131. (see video at 0:41 or 1:09 for validation)...
For your evaluation... I too am booked in car 2131 next month (DAL>SAS).
Here is a view of my previous 2 bookings on Train 21. I was also placed in car 2131 even though they were only running one sleeper. All went well on those trips.
Texas Eagle 21 @ Texarkana today Jul 1 - Pull’n an Observation car.
I wouldn't draw any conclusions it’s back yet, probably just hitch’n a ride. And strange position.
Still, nice to see it on the consist again.
Are there any recent Zephyr riders in the last week that noted the Sleeper car #'s and positions to the diner?
Zepyhr is still running 2 Sleepers up front daily, and they have traditionally been Diner, 31 and 32.
Many of us have been booked on 30 (mine coming up this weekend) but I've not seen...

I have no idea how much contribution they provide to Amtrak changes. From my observation I find Railpassengers.org my best option to support. Also I should add the disclaimer that I'm not fond of the Eagle. Nothing to see CHI>DAL. It's simply my route home from Zephyr, Empire, or...
