I hope to take Amtrak from ATL to PDX and am thinking of going first class on the EB (last leg of trip). I was wondering how much of the first class / Roomette price will cover the food, as compared to caoch plus paying for food seperately. I imagine I'd be eating three times per 24 hours.

Hoping to take AMTRAK from ATL - PDX and was wondering if going Coach on the Empire Builder is going to be doable. Can you get up and walk around or move to other cars? Anything else I should know about this route, or the ATL-WAS Crescent or WAS-CHI Capitol Limited routes? Never travelled by...
