Honestly, it can be fine or it can be unbearable. It's a crap shoot. I'll second all the previous advice and emphasize bringing a good sleep mask and getting a hold of some, over the ear, noise cancelling headphones. It is strange, but finding a comfortable sleeping position in those large seats...
