And now that I've looked up Horizon cars on wikipedia, it's probably them. I didn't realize there were any single-level cars in use on the Surfliner.

Sorry, I thought Viewliner meant any single level car. These definitely looked like Amfleet or Horizon, but I'm not sure what type.

A few months ago (probably November) I was at Union Station in LA, and I saw what looked like some Viewliner cars. From what I've heard, those are mostly used on the East coast. Why would there be any in LA?
