I stumbled upon some great videos that show the behind the scenes operation of the California Zephyr.  (Pardon me if they've been shared before.)  I've seen lots of train videos, but these really captivated me even if they are somewhat dated.  As a people person, I really like how these videos focus on the people of Amtrak and not just the equipment.

Great nostalgic video of the CZ in '93....thanks for posting them!

I have to comment about that California Railroad Museum docent, or whatever he was....in part 4, at 8:23 minutes, he was describing the original 1949 CZ from Oakland to Chicago being operated by:  "the Western Pacific, the Denver and Rio Grande, and the Chicago and North Western".... (should have been the Chicago, Burlington, and Quincy).... :rolleyes:
