79(25) What's Wrong With This Picture?

79 left Rocky Mount 29 minutes late and then Wilson 3 hours 47 minutes late. Wow!!!

Currently south of Wilson, the train is trundling along at about 5 mph. 91 is parked on the other side of Wilson. 53 is right behind 91.

Anybody know what's wrong with 79 & 91?

Well, 79 finally stopped and it looks like 91 is going around him.

Sounds like flat spots which would also explain the slow speed.

Purely a guess, maybe leftover problems from the storms the other day? Power outages, trees down, etc?

Curious. The train didn't lose any more time once it got past Selma. That would seem to rule out flat wheels.

According to Better Track-A-Train, 53 is sitting just south of Selma with a Service Disruption since last night.

Flats would no longer be an issue once the culprit is set-out.
