Zone Redemption Question

I'm planning on taking a trip from Toledo to Savannah, GA and back. On the return, I'm planning on taking the Meteor from Savannah to NYC and back to Toledo on the Lakeshore Limited. Given that Savannah and Toledo are in the same zone, will that be considered a one zone redemption even though I'm travelling through the Northeast Corridor? Thank You

The Northeast Corridor is not a zone per se but it is a subset of the East Zone. So you could book a trip Miami-Portland ME and still be in one zone.

Don't consider the Northeast Zone as a separate zone unless both of your origination and destination stations are inside that zone! In 1 or both are outside it, just consider it part of the. Eastern Zone.
