As of yesterday, my deaf friend himself sucessfuly place a phone call with a apple mac w/ webcam at 35,000 feet up in the air on Delta from FLL to LAX with no problems. I am deaf myself and I always amazed to see this.

Now, the next step will test on Amtrak train w/ Sprint 3G/4G Wireless card and see if it will work like he did on plane.
I feel this is a great technology that Amtrak needs to add wireless on all routes. I hope Amtrak will see that vision in near future.
Have anyone of you successfully get wireless connection anywhere in America with no problems?
