With 8:15 departure time, will boarding Eagle in Tucson be too late for breakfast?

If the Sunset is running late, walk across the street to the Historic Congress Hotel and have a nice breakfast on their patio cafe ( weather permitting!)

If it's on time, as was said, head for the Diner soon as you board and stash your stuff in your room.

There is also a place there at the station with fresh baked pastries and great coffee. Reasonably priced and convenient.

Not that breakfast at at the Cup Cafe isn't also a pleasant experience. We stayed at the Hotel Congress last year on our big trip. It was a pleasant break from cookie-cutter chain hotels. A real throwback to a bygone era when all you needed was a room, a bed, shower and a radio. Didn't miss the TV at all.
