And until FEC completes pax service to JAX, there is no reason to re institute this train to JAx. Though I like using the CONL to do it. Not sure how midwest traffic the Silvers carry to DC from Florida.

The documented plan is for extending the CONO from NOL to Orlando. There is currently no plan to terminate anything in JAX. JAX just happens to be on the only feasible and available route to Orlando. The line through Ocala is not available for passenger traffic at this time. That was settled as part of the deal that had CFRC (SunRail) acquire the segment Deland to Poinciana from CSX.

Bottom line is that nothing will happen without someone coming up with the funds first.
