Sleeper Reservation (fare for >1 person?)

The second person pays the Coach fare. Under AGR 1.0 the other person did not have to pay the Coach fare. I got in one last redemption under the old system about a year and a half ago using the Zone system. 40000 points Toledo to LA using the Capitol Limited and Texas Eagle and return LA to Toledo using the Coast Starlight,Empire Builder and Lake Shore Ltd. That same trip would be at least double the points with AGR 2.0

That is exactly what I remember! I guess I was just lucky as hell to get into Amtrak travel when I did!!!

I think this thread is using new math. But then New Math is now old, having been invented in the 1960s. That's before Amtrak. So doesn't this belong in Travelogues as that's the only forum I can find for old things?
