There is both a North and South view of Thomasville, NC.

1. It has no cost from what I can tell.
2. It seems to be a full motion camera every time I visit.
3. It does rewind but it might only be for 4 hours but it does have sound

The 10 Piedmont trains would run by here, 2 Carolinian trains run by here and at least the northbound Crescent will be during daylight year round (if only by a few minutes in the deep of winter if on time.). The southbound Crescent will be 1:00 am-ish if on time.

It seems to be an active rail cam 24/7. It might be a nice addition to the list as you do have the camera in Spartenburg, SC but that is a night-time train both directions and only sees the Crescent (which is your interest of course.)

Both cameras are on the same webpage but you can full-screen one of the other.
Awesome - thanks for posting :)

New free railcam overlooking the "Big 10" curve west of Denver. Nice views of CZ climbing up the curves into the Rockies.

I've added a few other cams to my list, including a St. Louis cam that catches the Texas Eagle and some regional trains. I've also sorted trains that are caught on multiple cams so that the cams are now listed in order, north-to-south or east-to-west.

Here is a link again.

How can I get this link to work?

Well the virtual real fan site seems to require a $16 a month subscription. Is there another way to see it for free?

I uploaded an updated table of Amtrak railcams. Most VRF links have changed; the main cams are still free on YouTube, but the 2nd & 3rd cams per location are now member only.

Also added VRF cams for Acela, Vermonter, Cardinal, Crescent, Brightline, and NEC between NYP & BOS. Still haven't found any free full-motion cams with rewind between NYP & WAS.

A railcam between NYP&WAS (or anything near WAS in general) would be a great railcam spot, and I know that it would get loads of views and traffic as that is a busy passenger rail corridor.

Yes, I have several of theirs on the list. I didn't add them all, because they have several cameras in a fairly small area, just giving slightly different views of EB. I haven't taken the time to go thru their newer ones.

Hi folks. In another thread, I posted a link to a table of free railcams and approximate scheduled times that Amtrak trains should pass them.

The links in the that thread are messed up, so here is a link that will hopefully work.

Please reply if there are any problems with it. Thx.
Looks great, even though I am in Dallas and log in to an onramp in Macedonia through a VPN.
Thanks for the effort!

You might want to add this one for the CS.

Is there a reason Ashland, VA is not listed for the Carolinian along with Silver Service? I guess the question could apply to the Palmetto as well.
My focus is on the LD routes. I've added a few regionals, but it would be too much work to add them all.

I've also included the approximate time offset from the nearest LD station, so that one can find the train's arrival or departure on the Transitdocs history and estimate the time at the cam.
