Here is a list of excursions you can purchase a ticket on that are on the rear of Amtrak. I'll update the list when more runs come available.
June 14-17: Pittsburgh, Pa to New York Penn Station with the ex PRR Braddock Inn and NYC 38. The excursion ticket includes 3 nights at the Hotel Edison in Times Square, a 48 hour gray line bus ticket, and meals on board the train. Ticket price is $1,199 double occupancy.

June 30: Pittsburgh, PA to New York, NY one way on the Braddock Inn and NYC 38. Tickets starting at $200. This is a self service trip with no hotels, no food, and minimal services.

July 3-5: Washington, DC to Boston, MA onboard the Braddock Inn and NYC 38. Tickets start at $869 for double occupancy. Tickets include two nights hotel, and all transfers.

There are also several other amazing trips with those cars in the works for 2018. And who knows who you will meet on board.
Disclosure: these are trips I'm scheduled to work on. However I do not profit from ticket sales and I'm not trying to plug trips I work. I'll get the rest of the industries listing when I get a chance.
