Yes, but ditzing with the windows is expensive even though I agree with you they could probably do it without compromising the structural integrity of the car.

I'm not saying it'll be cheap, but windows which are even just six or eight inches taller vertically would go a long way towards improving the suitability of these cars as lounges. I think it would be worth the cost.

Right now the budget may be lean, so is it better to back table the idea until you have the money for the windows and redoing the lower level, or is it better to get something in the works at Beech Grove as soon as possible. Yes the window idea is great, but my vote is to get the cars to Beech Grove ASAP because the PPCs nay not make another year.
