Meal service between Oakland and LA

Am taking CS from Oakland to LA. What meals will be served in dining car on that portion of trip. More specifically will they still be serving breakfast?

If it's on time you'll get breakfast. Have a plan b for breakfast if it's late.

My last trip in July, don't remember if the diner was still open in Oakland. We had our breakfast in the Davis/Martinez area. You will certainly get lunch and dinner.

Without looking at the schedule, I believe Oakland is near or close to 9 am, and that is normally when breakfast service ends. Also, there may be a waiting list, which may have already closed. This also assumes the train is ontime upon arriving into Oakland, which it may or not be.

You will get lunch and dinner before LA.

There's a Subway across the street and light food/coffee/drinks stand in the Lobby of the Station if the Train is running Late!
