Hello all, it has been a while. Have not traveled since August of 2012!

Sooo, in a couple of weeks I will be headed to Vegas, DEN-RAT-KNG-LAS.

Last time when I arrived in Vegas at 3:00AM on the thruway shuttle I caught a cab to downtown Vegas, $50!

At that time, tired, feeling loopy, just got in a cab.

Here is my question, searched but did not find anything. Knowing myself, I could have actually posted on this exact same thing for that previous trip

Anyhow,

Are there shuttles available at the Vegas airport at that hour (ones that are just waiting for people)? I will be heading to the strip this time, not downtown. Or is a cab my best bet?

Thanks in advance. Glad to be getting in another train trip. Looks like I will get to leave out of whatever they have at the original Denver station. Hopefully I will get a peek of something in there.

The hotel shuttles should run all night, especially if you're staying on the Strip. You might have to call for one once you get to the airport, but they should be able to get to you in about 15 minutes that time of night.

If you do take a cab from the airport, ask the cab driver to take you to the Strip via Swenson Ave, not the airport tunnel. The tunnel is several miles longer and can jack your rate up another $10.

This might explain why my downtown trip was so high, I remember driving through the tunnel. Thanks.
