My New Year starts out great with a trip on the City Of New Orleans to Chi and then the Blue water to LNS.

well Bnsf.........Maybe I see u . I be in Chi on Tuesday and lately we have been getting alot of dedheads from Bsnf and Norfolk to Kansas City, Fort Madison and Chicago

I have an all time favorite New Year's memory. I went from ATL to NYC and back and stood in the mob in Times Square to ring in 1984.
On my northbound trip I noted the Crescent going 120 mph which it was not supposed to do but apparently had subsitute power geared for that.
Good way to begin New Years--should do it again sometime.
