First Day of Amtrak California Zephyr Wyoming Detour

Does anyone know if this is the exception or will this train be running this late most days. I will be going to Chicago next weekend and wonder if I should book a day early to make sure I am there Monday afternoon or early evening.

Major storms have been hitting the midwest this week. Probably flooding and/or signaling problems have contributed significantly to delays experienced east of Denver this week.
