Their pilot recruitment methods are absurd and insulting to those of us who wanted to work there. They essntially want you to be their groupie and show up to as many of their job fair and other recruitment events as possible to prove your love. For pilots in the regional world who make peanuts and have scarce days off, that's just not acceptable. The one time I did play the game and met with them in Oshkosh, they told me to come see them again when I had some 121 (airliner) captain time. Apparently my time in the Air Force as an instructor pilot and mission commander on an aircraft of similiar size to a 737 with a far more complicated and difficult mission set just didn't cut it. They can say 'thanks for your service' as many times as they want, but when they disregard the bulk of my flying career, which came a great sacrafice, and look at me as just some CRJ first officer, I can't help but feel insulted. That's a story I would be interested in hearing.
