1st time on Amtrak

On May 18th I will board the Sunset Limited in New Orleans and come back to San Antonio. I am flying to NewOrleans on May 9th and wanted to try something different. I lived in Germany for many years and rode the train there, but unless you count the subway in NYC, I have never been on a train in the US. I am nervous and excited all at the same time. I have been reading some posts on here and they have cleard up quite abit of questions I had. But I do have more and wanted to know which thread would be the one that I would post them in?
