I will be in San Francisco and will have a day to do some train riding. I was curious if it would be possible to see any of the high speed rail construction from the train.

Yes, you can see coming into Fresno. I took a video of it. The software isn't letting me FF to the part. You can see it around 4:30 mark.

It gives me a headache just thinking about that HS train between Bakersfield and Los Angeles.

I just happened to be viewing during a section where the announcement came out about the Cafe Car accepting only cash "today". Does that happen a lot?

So it might have been better for you to keep scrolling through post titles rather than taking time to write a post that is not helpful or relevant to my questions.

Thank you for posting the video. I think I focus on riding the Sacramento Stockton tracks since I have not been over them.

Amtrak's CC machines suck. When it goes down, they do cash only. Not sure how regularly it happens but its happened quite a few times I've been on it.

Sorry for offending you, I was referring to the section in your video showing the construction of the HSR project. Seems like a waste, just my opinion.

My headache was referring to the difficulty the Techapis presented and when that section was dropped, the route was hurting. Never ridden a HSR, was planning to last week, but that's another story.
