Viewliner 2300 turns 15 Today!!!

Thanks to my new copy of Passenger Train Journal, I know that 15 years ago today Viewliner 2300, the first (prototype) Viewliner was completed in Beech Grove.

Other Key Events:

October 7-10, 1987, Debuted at the American Society of Travel Agents Convetion in Houston TX.

October 29, First Run Carrying Passengers Overnight on the Capitol Limited

Its sister (2301) and Diner 8400 were completed around February 1988.

So Happy Birthday Viewliner 2300. Also today I have chosen a new signature, and I'm proud as always to have my username. Also thanks to Miami Joe for the idea of the signature.

Don't forget to wish 2300 Happy Birthday guys!!!
