Nice smooth ride. Wife and I arrived at the train station with about 2 min to spare. Our car is quite full, not 100% but 90%.

Glad you had a good ride. Looking forward to getting back to NC one day and riding their state supported trains.
Years ago,I would travel to the Carolinas once a year on business from the Midwest. Usually took either the Cardinal or the Capitol connecting to the Crescent. Enjoyed it very much, but the arrival / departure times in North Carolina were rough.

Yes, that Crescent is not idea unless you arrive a day early or have a meeting after lunch where you have time to get to a hotel and get a few hours of sleep.
