    Oh, yeah.  Numerous times.   Though I don't ride Metra downtown frequently, so not terribly often.

    It's interesting and very real when you're coming into a station and experience it.  But, the wider angle shots or wide view of Ogilve from the L is spectacular and unique.

    Metra Electric has some sort of ducted heaters to their switches downtown - installed over the past two or three years. I think they are gas fired rather than electric, however. They seem to melt the snow rather effectively.
