Couple days ago, a van went out of control of the 5 south freeway and ended up on the rails! For you who dont know ,the Surfline is right next to the freeway at San Onofre. Fortunantly, The sole occupant got out fine and the Surfliner took out the van.
The funny part of the story...
One of our drivers was on the train behind that one and they were stuck at Capistrano. They announce there was a problem with one of the cars on their train. So some work guys start fixing things-making lots of noise, letting air out and whatever.
So after awhile they finally announce that the train ahead hit a van on the track. Those guys fixing the train, immediatly stop and go off and smoke.
They were full of it!
