I can vouch for this - we just left Newark Airport, and picked up a massive number of people headed South.

Mind you Amtrak is still having its own problems. The 5:00 PM Acela to Boston was cancelled, the 6:00 PM running late. And one Acela to DC was also running late, IIRC. Just sort of glanced at the monitor while visiting the CA for a minute.

Yeah, we lost 40 minutes between MET and PHL, so things aren't running like clockwork, but it's getting the job done.
