Southwest Chief 3(5) detouring through Quincy, IL?

Anyone have any idea why today's SC is not running on its normal line? Looks like it took the Carl Sandburg line at Galesburg out past Quincy, IL.
 
BNSF is a really responsible railroad when it comes to running Amtrak; they almost always find a detour route. Quickly.
 
Perhaps that's because the former BN is the last of the four original owners of Amtrak common stock?

Back in the 1970's, my dream job was to be in Amtrak's National Operations Center, where they made arrangements to detour trains during various disruption's....of course back then, there were a whole lot more routes available....
