According to Track-A-Train, 98 appears not to be moving, and is located north of the Auto Train Station in Sanford, FL. I hope it was not involved in an "incident" or accident. Anyone know?

EDIT: it is on the move again losing about 2 hours between Winter Park and DeLand. Nothing on local news, so hopefully it was nothing major.

Well, now I get to be the bearer of bad news. 53(19) struck a trespasser south of Richmond. 91 is behind 53.

The Lake Monroe ( ST Johns river ) draw bridge has been a thorn in Amtrak's side. Plus CSX and Sun rai once Fl DOT purchased the line from Deland - Poinciana road. The bridge was rebuilt and closed for some weeks disrupting Amtrak and CSX freights.

The rebuilding of the bridge has not prevented delays. After observing the bascule bridge trying to close in a moderate wind for almost 30 minutes can believe this delay. Note Autp Train #52 has been caught behind 98

Today's 98 took the normal delays from Poinciana thru Kissimmee to Orlando as the double tracking continues to cause delays even on weekends.
