Hi All:

My 15-year-old son received an email with a $30 voucher earlier today. The text indicated that it was in response to his "Email inquiry about service", with an apology for his "trip interruption."

A second, longer form letter showed up a little while later with the usual corporate spiel about doing their best to be on time, unforseen issues can cause delays, etc.

The thing is--he's never sent them any sort of complaint whatsoever, and said that he's never posted complaints about our trip on social media.

Our last trip was on Empire Service in August, from ALB to ROC, and while it was 15 minutes late departing, it arrived within five minutes of the scheduled time.

So now I'm curious--has anyone else gotten one of these? It's absolutely a real voucher, we checked.

Someone complained with a rewards number close to his and they got the rewards number mixed up most likely.
