Public/Amtrak Recognition of Thruway Newton to OKC?

Has there been a public announcement, from Amtrak, of the addition of thruway service Newton - (Wichita) - Oklahoma City, connecting the Southwest Chief and Heartland Flyer? I know that you can book that connection...but the Amtrak National Map does not show it...pdf timetables don't show it...and I cannot remember a press release from Amtrak, only local newspaper/websites. Did I just miss it? Seems like it would be worth making noise about the addition.

But, IMHO, Amtrak should of course update pdf schedules (and any maps) online as well.

There has been a lot of coverage of this new operation on Facebook page on both the SWC and Heartland Flyer.
