NJT + SEPTA vs Amtrak To Philly

Taking SEPTA and NJ transit is a lot cheaper than Amtrak. As daid about an hour more,the comfort level is not as nice as Amtrak and you change to SEPTA in Trenton

Also a lot slower, even compared to NER and not Acela.

He already explicitly said “about an hour more”.

I feel its best to make Philly its own separate trip in the future.

That sounds like a good idea--there really is a lot to do in Philadelphia, and it deserves its own trip without rushing back and forth. We will look forward to when you plan a trip there and will be glad to give you any advice (asked for and unasked for! ). You might want to avoid the most crowded times--July 4th and New Years Day (Mummers Parade). Other than that, it should be busy but not overwhelmingly crowded.
