New Van Nuys Platform

The platform is really taking shape. About 90% of the concrete work is done. Last week they put up a canopy on the center platform. View attachment 14943 View attachment 14944

I go through there twice a day on Metrolink. The canopies are "stylish" but not much protection from the sun (its been 100+ everyday lately) or rain (when we get it).

Went by today and saw a second canopy at the other end of the platform. They have put a non-porous cover over the canopyies making them slightly more acceptable. A very large concrete pour going on at the east end and mid platform with a very long armed pumping truck.
