    Saw a video of it burning on another news site - it's a wonder no one was seriously hurt.

    Was the owner of the RV driving the RV at the time it was abandoned??

    No, according to what I read. Supposedly witness's saw 4 people leaving the RV on the tracks and running away.

    Even if physically unhurt, the trauma for the driver/engineer tends to go unreported. One of my son's best friends does this for a living and was given mandatory time off after a similar incident where someone was killed. They feel horribly responsible for a situation entirely out of their control.
