How do I know that I booked a ticket?

Apparently I booked an Amtrak ticket, but I didn't receive any confirmation e-mail, not did I receive a Reservation Number. What's going on?
 
Sorry for the double post, but I called to check and was told that I haven't booked anything yet. The website kept redirecting me. Very confused.....
 
Was your credit or debit card charged for the ticket? If not, you probably do not have a ticket. If it has been (especially if it shows in processed, not just pending) I would call Amtrak back and explain to them that you've been charged for a ticket but have no confirmation of it. They should be able to look it up with the information entered when buying the ticket.
