I am hearing/seeing a lot of answers on this one, but nothing concrete pun intended.

We are doing a cruise in April and will be taking the train the night before from Fullerton to San Diego Santa Fe Station so I will be gone for 8 nights total.  Any suggestions on parking in Fullerton for that long?  Please source your responses.

Not familiar with Fullerton parking but, at LA Union Station (east portal), you can park for $8.00 per day...underground and relatively secure. Pretty hard to beat that price! I've parked there for 2 or more weeks at a time on occasion without problem.

LA might not be feasible for your situation, you may already have tickets, etc. but, thought I'd throw that your way.

Registration required for more than 3 days...see link

Long-term parking is on the top floor of the parking structure west of the train station (labeled as "SOCO Structure" on this official city of Fullerton map). You'll need to get a permit from the ticket agent at the station.
