If you haven't seen this excellent WWII train saga, it's on TCM tonight at 8pm EST. Worth a rental if you miss this post, Burt Lancaster, etc, trains blowing up, etc.

Great plot - great acting - great train scenes. I have it on DVD and watch it ever so often.
 
I'm watching it now on my DVR. It's one of my favorite movies.

At one point point they are in Metz, France. I once road the train from Germany to Metz just to ride the train into France.
