A minor derailment occurred just north of Florence.

I'd keep my eye on the website and the Twitter feed. I fully expect manipulations to 89(12) and 90(12).

It had to be south of Selma because trains 79 and 80 operated normally.

If it was a more serious derailment they could have rerouted the Palmetto from Charleston to Dillon via the Andrews sub via Andrews, SC. It would have missed Kingstree and Florence.

Florence is a crew change point. So I doubt they would do that unless it would take a serious amount of time to make repairs.
