Maybe it shows how old I am :giggle: but an oozing black blob reminds me way more of the living & talking tar pit on an episode of Star Trek: Next Generation (the one that killed Tasha Yar) than the Sun-Times's examples of the Smoke Monster or Dementors. Smoke or fog isn't a puddle. :rolleyes:

I always laugh when I see the tar monster costume. It looks like she was killed by a giant trash bag.
