Effective with the October 27th timetable changes, the Cascades Corridor trains will be totally renumbered. (This also includes the Thruway buses that operate in certain timeslots in lieu of trains.) Here are the train number changes:

Old Number..........New Number

Vancouver-Bellingham-Seattle

760.........................510..........(Seattle-Vancouver)

761.........................513..........(Seattle-Bellingham)

762.........................516..........(Bellingham-Seattle)

763.........................517..........(Vancouver-Seattle)

Old Number..........New Number

Seattle-Portland-Eugene

750.........................500..........(Eugene-Portland-Seattle)

751.........................501..........(Seattle-Portland except Sundays)

757.........................503..........(Seattle-Portland Sundays only)

552.........................504..........(Eugene-Portland)

752.........................506..........(Portland-Seattle)

753.........................507..........(Seattle-Portland-Eugene)

754.........................508..........(Portland-Seattle)

755.........................509..........(Seattle-Portland-Eugene)

The reason for this change is that with changes to the Pacific Surfliners, the old numbers above conflict with the numbering system of the Pacific Surfliners.
