Overheard a gate agent this morning at Chicago saying next week they are starting a new boarding process similar to the airlines, using boarding passes. Maybe this is old news, but it's the first I have heard of it.

Boarding Passes!!! Isn't your e-ticket a Boarding Pass???

What Genius came up with this idea, a hire of an ex- airline person???

Imagine the line @ the desk in the afternoon when all the LD Trains are departing/arriving and the usual PM Crowd is in the Lounge!!

Guess they'll have to cut out the snacks in the Lounge to pay for the Passes!!!

How would you get your "boarding pass" for CHI if you just arrived on the CZ from Helper or the SWC from Needles or the LSL from Erie and just connecting? Those stations are unstaffed.
