So don't always rely on the timetable!!!

Amtrak's October 27 national timetable has errors in a few places. Check with Amtrak before relying on published times for train 98 (Silver Meteor) between Washington and New York, and train 448 (Lake Shore Limited) between Worcester and Boston.

It is always a good idea to check schedules anyway, even for us die-hard railfans. I remember a trip two years ago when my train out of Boston had been re-scheduled about 30minutes earlier, and nobody told me. I had ordered my ticket through a travel club(because I get a rebate---only reason I use them). I do not remember how I even found out about it...think it was at the last minute, like the night before. Amtrak said the travel club was to notify me. the travel club said Amtrak was to notify me....well, bully,bully,bully....I almost missed my train. Made me mad.

Well from looking at 98's schedule it's still showing arrival times at all NEC stations between WAS and NYC prior to October 27. B)
