I found this interesting site this afternoon that auctions off Amtrak tickets and is joined with Amtrak. B)

I've noticed that too, except it says "This is not a real auction, its just for test." I wonder when they'll be real, and where they'll be valid for.

It looks like Amtrak will run this like the "Rail Sale" tickets. There'll be so many tickets available for a particular train. I hope the Empire Builder is one of the trains that they have on there when they go live. B)

Yeah, I noticed that. I guess they figure that the sale price could be so low, that they didn't want to allow people to then cheaply upgrade to a sleeper.
