Improvements range from new stations, including the construction of an Amtrak station at Harrisburg International Airport, to continuous welded rail, replacing three grade crossings with overpasses, enabling trains to reach 110 mph, and new electric locomotives.
Further details available at Trains.com.

Good, I know the line is electrified, but is that true for all of the Tracks? I wonder who'll get the order for the locomotives.

hello

east bound main 80 mph stick rail harrisburg to septa ownership.

westbound main 90 mph welded rail all the way to harrisburg.

Electrification is still operable and has been used about once a month to keep corrosion down.
