Amtrak will use its Great Dome car, a full-length glassed-in upper level car, on its Adirondack train for a five-week run from Sept. 13 to Oct. 21. The car provides an all-around view of the scenery during the fall foliage season on the route between Rensselaer and Montreal, one of the passenger railroad's most scenic routes.
