Well with 20+ inches of snow in the northeast corridor....does anyone know

how the Acela equipment held up???? This would really be their first test

in blizzard conditions. I guess the AEM's did the bulk of the work, I understand 25% of the schedule was annulled..but most if not all trains

operated were sold out.

Only 25% of NJ Transit trains were cancelled. Amtrak is running everything, but its Florida and Southeastern trains into Virginia. While Amtrak's website doesn't say if an Aclea trainset was substitued with a Metroliner sets, there are still delays between 20-80 minutes with most trains.

Acelas did run according to a spokesperson, I heard earlier on WNBC 4.
