2-3-4 Rule for tips.

    After planning on the suggested 2-3-4 Rule I was advised in another thread $2 for breakfast $3 for lunch $4 for dinner and planning and budgeting for that, I still feel cheap. A lot of people posted that this is the norm now days on the dinner.

    If it makes you feel cheap, leave more. I, as the attendant, certainly won't mind... :p

    Tip whatever you're comfortable with. If it makes you feel cheap, add a bit more. I tip the same way I do in a restaurant. :)

    The only "rule" about tipping is "Tip whatever you feel is appropriate".

    There is two of us this trip and we have four nights on the trains. Maybe that is why I had been advised of the 2-3-4 rule.
